The Role | He kōrero mō te tūranga
We are looking for an experienced Class 4 Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our team.
This role is primarily truck driving focused, with approximately 80% of the role dedicated to operating Vitaco transit trucks between company facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring stock is transported safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and professionalism.
When not completing transport runs, you will support warehouse operations within our fast-paced Warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include | Ngā kawenga matua kei roto ko:
- Driving Vitaco transit trucks between Warehouse, Distribution Centre and Manufacturing facilities
- Safe loading, unloading, and restraint of stock and pallets
- Completing pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining transport documentation
- Ensuring all deliveries and transfers are completed accurately and on schedule with the correct documentation
- Operating Class 2-4 vehicles safely and professionally in line with company and legal requirements
- Radio Frequency, (RF) scanning and regular use of Warehouse Management Systems, (WMS)
- Supporting warehouse operations including picking, replenishment, putaway, and dispatch tasks
- Operating Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and Stock Picker hoists when required
- Maintaining housekeeping and safe warehouse practices
- Manual handling and lifting of products up to 25kg
- Working to operational deadlines and daily KPIs
What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu
- Current NZ Class 4 licence is essential
- Proven experience driving Class 2-4 trucks within a transport, warehousing, or distribution environment
- Minimum 2+years truck driving experience preferred
- Strong understanding of transport safety, load security, and compliance requirements
- Current NZ Reach, Counterbalance, and Stock Picker licenses preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and WMS
- Good numerical and computer skills
- Clear written and verbal English communication
- Reliable attendance and strong time management
- A strong safety mindset and ability to work independently and within a team environment
