Team Leader Barline - Day Shift
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead our Day Shift Bar Line operations. Reporting to the Line Manager, you’ll take ownership of a team of machine operators—ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive performance, develop your team, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities | He kōrero mō te tūranga
- Champion a strong Health, Safety & Environment (SH&E) culture, bringing our “Safer Place Because of Me” mindset to life
- Deliver production plans while maintaining high quality, hygiene, and compliance standards
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to build capability, accountability, and engagement
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive practical solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and P&C to ensure smooth operations
- Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Working Hours & Roster
- 45 hours per week
- Includes 1 Saturday per month

You’re a confident and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-moving manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong, high-performing teams.
You will bring:
- Proven leadership experience in FMCG or manufacturing (3–5 years preferred)
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and production performance
- Excellent coaching and people leadership capability
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience working to production targets, KPIs, and tight timeframes
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- ERP experience (e.g., Navision, 3WS)
- Relevant trade or industry qualification
