Our four power brands — Nutra-Life, Healtheries, Athena, and Musashi — have been empowering healthier lives across Australia, New Zealand, and more than 30 countries worldwide for over 100 years.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-driven and confident Quality Control Review Analyst to join our Quality Control team based in East Tamaki.

This role is critical to ensuring the timely and compliant review and release of analytical results and quality documentation within a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader, you’ll work closely with Laboratory, QA, Product Development and external laboratories to support on-time product release and audit readiness.

This is a review-focused role (rather than routine bench testing), suited to someone who enjoys ownership, accountability and working at pace — making confident release decisions while ensuring documentation integrity and compliance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve raw material and finished product testing results to support timely product release
  • Conduct HPLC data and audit trail reviews, ensuring data integrity and compliance
  • Author, review and maintain specifications, SOPs and test methods, ensuring documents remain current and audit-ready
  • Review and control calibration, maintenance and reference standard records
  • Support organoleptic testing and technical problem solving as required
  • Work closely with external laboratories to verify and review third-party test results
  • Maintain clear tracking and governance of document lifecycles, approvals and updates

What’s Important in This Role

We are specifically looking for candidates who bring strength in:

  • Analytical data review and release decision making
  • GMP / GLP documentation ownership (specifications, SOPs, test methods)
  • HPLC result and audit trail review experience
  • Ability to work at speed, manage competing priorities and meet release timelines
  • Comfort operating in a regulated, audit-focused environment

About You

You are a technically strong quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is confident reviewing, challenging and approving data and documentation.

We are looking for:

  • A BSc in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
  • 4+ years’ experience in a GMP laboratory environment (pharmaceutical, complementary medicines, food, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience with HPLC data review and audit trails
  • Strong understanding of GMP / GLP requirements (NZ, AU, PIC/S)
  • Proven experience reviewing or approving specifications, SOPs and analytical documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Clear, confident communication and a proactive problem-solving mindset

Experience supporting audits, managing documentation lifecycles, or working with external laboratories will be highly regarded.
