We’re recruiting a senior commercial leader to take ownership of one of our most strategically important customer partnerships across Woolworths NZ Group and The Warehouse.

A proven National / Senior Business Manager to take ownership of a flagship account and drive growth across high potential, emerging channels.

You’ll have end to end accountability for customer strategy, JBPs, commercial outcomes, category leadership and shopper activation, working across a multi brand portfolio with strong momentum and innovation behind it.

You’ll operate at the intersection of:

  • High growth sports performance, snacking and core health platforms
  • Deep customer partnerships and senior level engagement
  • Shopper led activation that turns strategy into store level impact

Reporting to the Head of Sales – Grocery, you’ll have genuine autonomy, visibility and influence across the NZ business. 

What you’ll own

  • Lead flagship customer partnerships across Woolworths NZ Group and The Warehouse
  • JBPs, commercial negotiations and full ownership of pricing, trade investment and P&L outcomes, backed by a strong, engaged and collaborative team
  • Category reviews, NPD launches and range optimization
  • Shopper activation and in store execution at scale
  • Cross functional leadership across Marketing, Category, Finance, Demand and Field 

Who this is for

This opportunity suits:

  • A high performing Senior KAM ready to step into a broader, more influential leadership role, or An experienced National / Senior Business Manager looking to lead a flagship account with real scale and visibility
  • You’ll be commercially sharp, relationship led, comfortable with complexity, and motivated by making a visible impact.

You will bring:
• 8+ years’ experience in FMCG account management within NZ grocery
• Experience leading Woolworths NZ or equivalent major grocery accounts
• Proven track record delivering profitable, sustainable growth through strong commercial and P&L ownership
