Key Account Manager - Sports Specialist

Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Sales – NZ Specialist, you will manage the relationships with our key sports specialist customers.

With the ability to build strong relationships, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of these accounts to ensure all opportunities are identified and maximised.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop joint business plans with our key sports specialist customers, in consultation with the wider category and marketing teams,  and the Head of Sales that delivers financial objectives and is in accordance with the overall channel strategy
  • Present new products, provide category insights, implement promotional plans, negotiate ranging, price management and review performance
  • Negotiating plans, managing trade spend and development of effective promotional plans to deliver budgets
  • Implement forecasting and develop strong promotional planning

Type of experience and formal education that will favour your application:

  • A related tertiary qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' Key Account Management experience in the Pharmacy or FMCG industry. Preferably with experience in sports specialist channel
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the Pharmacy or FMCG industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated strengths in presentation, negotiation and influencing.
  • Strong prioritisation, time management, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power Point, experience with Circana Software
  • Trade marketing experience
