About the Role:
The Key Account Executive will support the Key Account Manager for Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) by developing communications for the Field Team, maintaining TM1 (Vitaco’s forecasting and promotional tool), managing the FSNI promotional portal, coordinating store media campaigns, and ensuring consistent communication with FSNI personnel. As FSNI is the largest grocery account in New Zealand, this role plays a vital part in supporting its growth ambitions.

The successful applicant will manage key accounts, maintain an existing customer base, and meet sales and profit objectives.

This role requires strong customer rapport, effective use of business tools and analysis, confident store‑level management, and excellent organisational and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Key account administrative support
  • Accruals, forecasts and ROI
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly reviews
  • Account analysis: identify key issues, opportunities, trends and offering recommendations
  • Promotional analysis and pricing analysis
  • Key monthly and quarterly account business reviews
  • Identify key issues, opportunities, trends with associated recommended actions
  • Determine effectiveness of key activity against key measures, present to internal/external stakeholders
  • Distribute individual store reviews and presentations
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as required

Qualifications and Experience: -

  • Degree qualified, preferably
  • At least 3 years working experience in FMCG
  • Preferably with field experience and/or account executive experience
  • FSNI experience will be an advantage
  • Grocery sales or FMCG sales analytical experience
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement
