Health & Safety Advisor


The Opportunity

Reporting to the Safety & Sustainability Manager, this role as a Health & Safety Advisor is a key partner in supporting Vitaco’s mission to empower healthier lives. You’ll provide first-line advice and hands-on support for health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives - helping us build a proactive safety culture across the business.

You’ll manage physio referrals, injury support, and compliance activities, while driving continuous improvement through data insights and coaching. By working closely with leaders, team members, and external partners, you’ll play a key role in strengthening Vitaco’s proactive safety culture and promoting wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for health, safety, and injury management queries
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the H&S Committee
  • Support incident investigations and maintain the risk register in ecoPortal
  • Coordinate audits, inspections, and mandatory training
  • Champion wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities
  • Maintain ecoPortal and provide training as needed
What You Will Bring
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety Advisory position, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Safety, or a relevant business discipline
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary health and safety strategies and practices
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot)
  • Experience with HRIS or safety databases (ecoPortal experience a plus)
  • Understanding of H&S legislation and case law in an ANZ context
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder liaison, and time management skills
  • Initiative, analytical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement
