Assistant Customer Marketing Manager - China & Hong Kong - 12 Month Maternity Cover


The Opportunity

We are looking for a China & Hong Kong Assistant Customer Marketing Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the China & Hong Kong marketing strategy to significantly grow sales, market share, awareness, and engagement.

Reporting to the China & Hong Kong Customer Marketing Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders including the China sales team, finance, product innovation, regulatory, QA/QC, agencies distributors, and customers to deliver strong brand and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities: -

  • Support the development and implementation of 3-year strategic plans and annual marketing plans
  • Assist with execution of consumer marketing and customer marketing plans, particularly across social media and livestreaming
  • Run campaigns with agency, understanding of marketing execution in Little Red Book, Douyin, Facebook and Instagram
  • Coordinate monthly reporting on marketing activity performance, insights, and recommendations
  • Support the development of agency briefs, campaign execution, and marketing collateral
  • Contribute to management of the China & Hong Kong product portfolio and support product innovation
  • Coordinate product innovation activities including workshops, consumer research, gate documentation, packaging briefs, and follow up actions
  • Support website content maintenance and uploads for China & Hong Kong platforms
  • Assist with packaging updates and product information requirements for bonded warehouse and testing processes
  • Monitor competitor activity, product launches, and customer feedback, sharing insights with the wider China team
  • Partner with the sales team to support NPD launches, channel expansion, promotional activity, presentations, and training materials
  • Help maintain an up-to-date product filing library for bonded warehouse requirements

What you will bring: -

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
  • Cantonese fluency and Traditional Chinese reading/writing skills
  • A tertiary qualification, ideally in Marketing or International Business
  • At least 2 years’ experience in brand/marketing
  • At least 2 years’ experience in CBEC
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred: -

  • Experience in FMCG and/or Pharmacy will be advantageous
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in digital marketing, in cross border and social medical channels
  • Marketing or sales experience in the Hong Kong market
  • Is proactive, resourceful, and driven to deliver results
  • Is highly organised and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and data analysis skills.
