Accounts Payable Officer

Your Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Team Leader. This role is based at our East Tamaki site.

Working alongside a part-time Accounts Payable colleague, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the accounts payable ledger for both Australia and New Zealand
  
• Receiving, distributing, matching, and processing over 1,800 invoices monthly
  
• Investigating discrepancies and ensuring compliance with authorisation levels
  
• Reconciling supplier statements
  
• Preparing and executing payment runs across various due dates, including banking uploads
  
• Following up on invoice approvals and resolving supplier queries

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll demonstrate:

• Proven experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment within a medium to large organisation
  
• FMCG or manufacturing industry experience (advantageous)
  
• Familiarity with stock invoice processing and 3-way matching
  
• Strong reconciliation and data entry skills
  
• Confidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
